About LifeTool™
LifeTool™ Ltd. was incorporated in 2006 and has two directors. LifeTool™ also has the benefit of 3 full time engineers dedicated to product development and product commercialisation. LifeTool™ develops and markets Life Science Products via multiple distribution channels and also with a developing sales force in the domestic and foreign market.
The company has developed its patent-applied for base technologies (RECAP™-96M). It is also seeking to establish its corporate identity in the Life Science automation field.
We have grown from a "one man in a shed" to a team of 3 people during 2007 focused on developing unique automation solutions for the scientific community. Our plan is to develop the LifeTool™ brand to become an enabling company, providing novel solutions into the Laboratory automation market. We plan to introduce a number of products which are low cost alternatives to high end fully automated systems by innovating and thinking outside of the "BOX".
Our philosophy is to not create redundant equipment; we adopt a modular (LEGO®) approach to our products, therefore allowing users to adapt LifeTool™ equipment to their ever changing needs.
We commercialised our first product (RECAP™-96M) in May 2007 and have made significant growth in a very short period of time; this has been possible by adopting our unique "skunk works" philosophy to developing products. Stripping out the archaic engineering practices resident in some larger organizations. We utilize the latest engineering technologies including stereo lithography CAD-CAM to develop our proof of principle products.
The unit has enabled Scientists worldwide to become more productive within a number of applications including: Cell Banking/Production, Oligo production, Forensics, HIV testing and compound management.
